Engr. Faiz Mohammad Bhutta is PEC Registered Professional Engineer in Electrical plus MBA & MS. He has done post Graduate Diploma in Telecommunication from COMSATS HQ. He has more than 35 years of experience of working in the areas of Industrial Automation, Solar Energy Technologies, Water Pumping and Solar Pumping Technologies, Solar Lighting ,Mini and Micro Hydro power plants and Energy & Business Management.

He served at managerial posts at various National and Multinational organizations like ZELIN, INTECH, SOPHA,GRUNDFOS, COMSATS and IZHAR Group etc and now running his own firm Techfa Consulting since 2015..

He has got first training from Germany on CNC Machines in 1981 and started his career as CNC Engineer. He got training from RENAC Berlin on Design and Installation of Solar Energy Systems. He got training from GIZ Experts in Pakistan  for design and installation of  Solar PV and Solar Thermal Systems  . He got training from HNAC China on Mini and Micro Hyrdo Power Plants. He is master trainer on Solar Energy from GIZ Pakistan and resource person of Pakistan Engineering Council on Renewable Energy. He is TOT on SOLAR PV by RENAC Berlin, TOT on Solar PV System from GSAN ( German Solar Academy Network) Berlin.  TOT on Micro and Mini Hydro by HNAC Technologies China, TOT on Solar Pumping by LORENTZ PUMPS and TOT Energy Management from UNIDO ( international Energy Center) and attended various conferences, seminars and webinars on Energy related subjects.

He has served as member PEC National task force for development of Building Energy Code of Pakistan 2011, Pakistan Electrical and Telecommunication Safety of Pakistan 2014, Fire Code of Pakistan 2015 and member of National  working Group on standardization of Building Code, standards and specifications for Low cost Units (2021), Member Task force on Pakistan Green Building Code (PGBC) 2023  and member of Occupation Safety Code of Practice for Construction Workers 2025

He has designed and supervised  various Solar and Energy Management related Systems and also implemented Energy Efficiency Improvement plans in Industries and Buildings. He has been Solar PV consultant to NUST, MES, GDA, ADB, MES Directorate, Housing Directorate GHQ, CMH Kharian Medical College, DHA Islamabad, Garrison Academy Kharian, Askari Housing Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi, Nishat Group, FC College, University of Sargodha, PKLI and Jacaranda Family Club DHA  for solar PV systems varying from 100KW to  5 MWp..

He is member of organizations namely International Solar Society Germany (ISES),, Member AEE Global, Life member PEC , Life Member of HVACR Society, Life Member of IEP and, Life member of IEEEP.

Award Winner of 2019 as Best Energy Professional from Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) USA and Award Winner of 2013 as BEST Solar Professional from Institute of Engineers Pakistan (IEP)
